Job Description:
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Attendant and play a crucial role in the backbone of our operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our warehouse, directly impacting our supply chain and customer satisfaction. If you are a team player with a knack for organization and an eye for detail, we want you on board.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Processing Stock: Efficiently unload, inspect, and store incoming deliveries to maintain inventory integrity.
- Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick and prepare products to meet customer orders, ensuring correctness in product selection and quantity.
- Packing and Shipping: Pack orders securely, organize for shipment, and process items with appropriate delivery services, maintaining a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks, update records, and utilize inventory management systems to ensure stock levels are maintained accurately.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the warehouse environment clean, organized, and safe, adhering to organizational standards and safety regulations.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse machinery, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move goods as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all workplace safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.
- Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with the team, demonstrating effective communication and problem-solving skills to enhance warehouse operations.
- Problem-solving: Address and resolve any arising inventory or delivery issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and any discrepancies, reporting significant matters to the supervisor.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Operate various types of trucks for product transportation, ensuring safe loading and unloading.
- Perform vehicle inspections and maintain records of cargo and fuel usage.
- Maintain clear communication with the Warehouse Supervisor, Warehouse Manager, Sales Team and customers.
- Adhere to traffic laws and report any vehicle issues or incidents.
- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
- Assist in various warehouse activities as requested, including loading/unloading containers and organizing cargo.
- Participate in all required company meetings and report any issues or returns to the appropriate manager.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or a similar role.
- Familiarity with warehouse machinery and safety regulations.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (for truck operation duties).
